The challenge this week was Flowers, which is one of my favourite subjects 🙂 I was also in dire need of flower therapy! Calgary is the awkward ugly duckling right now – the drab, faded brown before the new, fresh green of Spring. Plus my treasured violet houseplant, a gift from my Grandma that I have somehow managed to keep alive, finally bloomed pretty purple flowers! One of the neat things about violets is lovely shimmer on their petals – something I never really appreciated until I became a photographer. Daffodils have the same beautiful shimmer…
